My career at SCHOTT began more than 18 years ago, initially as an external partner. Today, I am an integral part of the company and serve as an interface between the employees on site and Corporate IT. I ensure that IT topics are communicated clearly, addressed effectively, and implemented reliably—whether through direct support or by purposefully routing requests to the appropriate competence centers.
A key part of my role is to support major IT transformations in the regions. Whether it’s Office 365, Teams telephony, or network modernizations—I facilitate local implementation and help make changes tangible and practical for everyday use. Over the years, I have witnessed the company’s technological evolution—and have had the opportunity to actively help shape this transformation.
What continues to motivate me after so many years is the combination of security, trust, and genuine opportunities for development. I have been given the freedom to take on responsibility and to further develop myself. For me, SCHOTT is not just an employer, but an environment where you can achieve long-term growth.
