In my role in Strategic Purchasing, I work daily with colleagues in Germany, Japan, Singapore, and China. This international collaboration is one of the most exciting aspects of my work. My responsibility lies in the strategic procurement of semi-finished components. This involves not only price negotiations or supplier management, but also long-term perspectives, risk assessment, and sustainable partnerships. The diversity of markets and business areas at SCHOTT continually provides me with new insights and challenges.
